Kodak EasyShare M1063

In 2008, Kodak released one of the most characterful compacts in its EasyShare lineup: the EasyShare M1063. Packing a 10.3-megapixel CCD sensor, a 3x optical zoom lens, and Kodak's iconic color science into a compact body, this model carries the photo giant's decades of film heritage into the digital realm. Its biggest strength is color: Kodak's signature warm, saturated tones give your shots an analog film feel. Today it delivers the "early digital" aesthetic everyone's chasing — nostalgic warm colors, gentle CCD texture, and a character you won't find on modern phones — all in a simple, point-and-shoot body.

• 🎯 3x optical zoom, 32–96mm equivalent Kodak lens

• 📺 2.7" LCD screen (230,000 dots)

• 🔋 KLIC-7001 rechargeable Li-ion battery
• 🛡️ Digital image stabilization
• 💎 A warm example of the early digital / Y2K CCD aesthetic

The first thing that stands out about the M1063 is its simplicity: you turn the camera on and focus straight on shooting, with no complicated menus to wrestle with. The wide angle starting at 32mm feels comfortable for everyday and group shots, while the compact body gives a satisfying, solid feel in hand. For beginners, the streamlined menu offers a simple, foolproof "essentials" experience.

The real magic lies in Kodak's colors. The brand's digital color science renders skin tones, daylight, and everyday scenes with a warm, saturated, filmic character. Combined with the texture of the 1/2.33-inch CCD sensor, it produces nostalgic frames that look like memories rather than the sterile perfection of phone cameras. Note: the M1063 records video in VGA 640×480, giving it that typical, nostalgic digital video texture of its era.

👀 Who It's For, Where to Use It

A natural choice for those who love Kodak's warm color character, anyone looking for a simple, easy everyday camera, those curious about the CCD sensor experience, and collectors wanting a clean EasyShare example with its original box. It's both effortless to use and increasingly rare in this condition.

It delivers warm, filmic, nostalgic frames for café and city shots, family gatherings, travel notes, birthdays, and everyday street photography. A characterful everyday camera for social media content that embraces the Y2K aesthetic.

🔥 The RetroCameraLand Take

The M1063 is one of those cameras you buy for the color. The color science from Kodak's decades of film heritage shows through even in this modest compact; warm tones and saturated colors make it one of the most characterful EasyShare models of its era. Its simple menu makes it ideal for anyone who doesn't want to fuss with technical settings.

The CCD character shines here too: warm, filmic colors and that nostalgic digital look that comes with the flash. Clean, fully functional M1063 units with their original box are becoming increasingly scarce on the market, making it both a camera you can use with peace of mind and a collectible that will hold its value. Tested and approved, ready to shoot with its original battery, charger, and a free memory card.
